A Silenced Voice

I would like to use this week's Saturday Scavenger Shots post to make people aware of a tragedy in the Internet community. As many may remember from earlier in the year and as I mentioned in my year-end wrap up, there was a protest over a couple of bills, SOPA and PIPA, which were presented in front of the House and Senate respectively. One of the biggest voices in that fight, the organizer of many of the protests, Mr. Aaron Swartz committed suicide yesterday. While I was only familiar with him from reading about him from Reddit and Demand Progress stories, he was a major voice in the fight for Internet freedom. I hope that we can carry his legacy and keep our Internet and our voices free.
