For those of you that don't know, we here in the Greater Cleveland Area have the Cleveland MetroParks system which is basically a protected nature preserve. AlienGF and I went to the Bedford Reservation area this weekend and took the new camera to try it out in the real world. Here are some of the photos we took throughout the day.
The reservation we went to has a small creek or river (not sure what to call it) that turns into a bridal veil falls.
Here's me looking over the cliff side watching the falls. AlienGF took this picture.
Here's AlienGF standing on a foot bridge looking out at the water.
We sat off the trail and watched some chipmunks playing around. It wasn't easy, but we got plenty of pictures. Here's one of the favorites.
As we were getting up to move on from our second sitting and waiting spot, AlienGF pointed out the family of deer through the trees. This one was actually moving toward us.
It was a fun day and an excellent opportunity to get some pictures with my new toy. For those wondering, I bought the Canon EOS T1i and the last two pictures were using an 85mm-250mm zoom lens. Thanks for stopping by.
