Does it seem lately like every movie coming out is incorporating 3D. I'm waiting for Gone With the Wind in 3D to be released to theaters. I'm not a fan of 3D movies because I don't like wearing wrap-around style glasses over my regular glasses. I also think that most of the time, 3D is used way too much to the point where it's unrealistic. It should only be used in close-quarter shots because in real life we don't see in 3D beyond 20-feet. I have heard that Avatar only used it in three spots and they were all scene that were within the 20-foot boundary.
What do you think? Are movie producers abusing the idea of 3D movies or is it the wave of the future?
