This week's Saturday Scavenger Hunt word is DIRECTION and it's given to us by Tara over at THE Eclectic Spaghetti. I thought about everything I could do to accommodate this word, but I decided to venture back to 2006 and take you on a journey. I was working weekends at the time and took off on a weekday to make up for it. On one of these weekdays I took a trip to Tinker's Creek Gorge, a scenic area in the Cuyahoga Valley.
It's important to stick to the path and even if it looks uncertain, go where it takes you, assuredly it is the right DIRECTION. This apparent doorway in the bushes only looks dark, once you get in there the tree canopy only blocks out a little bit of light.
Stay on the path and you will be on your way. The DIRECTION is forward and forward is where you want to go.
Keep following the path and going in the right DIRECTION and eventually you end up where you want to be. And let me tell you, the view is worth it.
I hope you enjoyed this little story and this look at Tinker's Creek. It is a beautiful area to visit and part of northern Ohio's emerald necklace. Who will Tara tag next? Just wait and see.
