My favorite food is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with a tall glass of milk. I wish they would bring back Saturday morning cartoons just so I could watch them while eating Fruity Pebbles cereal on my couch while I laugh at the humor that I have seen over and over before. The perfect woman for me has to like comedy and horror movies, video games, silly conversations that can sometimes border on stupid and cannot be concerned with being politically correct at all times. These statements would incur the label of "immature" from society in general, especially since I'm 35 years old. Did I mention that I maintain my own household, pay my bills on time and can be totally professional at work? Yeah, so now I'm responsible, but I still act like a kid. It seems that too many people take too many things seriously these days. There is no place for a good, un-PC joke, any slip of the tongue is automatically seen as a direct insult and in turn people get uptight. There is nothing spontaneous anymore, no pick up baseball games, nobody bursting into song publicly for no reason. Everything has to be planned out so that everybody is included and so that we make sure there is no chance that somebody gets their feelings hurt. Hey, I was always picked last for the team and my parents didn't sue anybody. When I was in school, there was no such thing as ADD, I was not put on a drug when my mind wandered and I did bad on a test, I was punished. I'm glad too, because my goofy imagination is still intact and it allows me those moments of idiocy that I cherish so much. I think we need to get together, choose up sides and have a kickball game in the park (that is, until the ice cream truck passes by and we all chase it down), feel free to pick me last. I want to go hand out free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and milk downtown to all of those stuff shirts. Maybe they'll take a bite and remember that they were once kids. Maybe they'll turn on some cartoons and have a bowl of cereal on Saturday morning. If you see me on the street, tell me a Polack joke, but tell it slowly because as you may know, I am Polish. Want to fix a company, or the economy, or the world? Think up a stupidly simple idea, it might just be the perfect solution. I introduced the Week of Optimism a couple weeks back and it seemed in some odd way to help. I felt better and I still do. I want to try to have Act Like a Kid Week. I want everybody to post something totally silly and nonsensical. I want all of you to have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and milk for dinner at least one day this week. Turn on Cartoon Network or Boomerang and watch while eating a bowl of cereal. Quit being serious for a little while and have some fun. Go to a toy store and check out the Hot Wheels and imagine how cool it would be to drive then in real life. Above all else....HAVE SOME FUN!!!
